The Buyer/Planner will support the procurement strategy development and implementation across all manufacturing sites. This individual will ensure quality of materials, competitive pricing and adherence to company policies and procurement processes. This role will be accountable for developing and maintaining a seamless relationship with strategic vendors and oversight for vendor quality programs to meet our standards and specifications. Additionally, this individual is responsible for the production planning strategy for the plant including, but not limited to, long term capacity planning, daily/weekly production schedule extensions and developing urgent change plans based on available materials for the production plant.
