  • Overview

    All employees are expected to follow Good Manufacturing Procedure (GMP) guidelines and to follow work procedures. It is important to communicate and work as a team. A sanitation worker is responsible cleaning/ sanitizing equipment to ensure produced goods safe for the consumer and prevent food safety and security risks.


    1. Learn, teach, and enforce all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
    2. Safely use sanitation chemicals/ teach & enforce chemical safety.
    3. Properly use and enforce PPE/ GMP requirements.
    4. Enforce all company policies.
    5. Monitor sanitation team, making sure all duties are being performed.
    6. Effectively communicate to the sanitation team and other departments.
    7. Work with and around hot/ cold water.
    8. Use computer batching software.
    9. Delegate work assignments and verify completion.
    10. Perform ATP swab testing.
    11. Assign given tasks from sanitation master plan.  Verify on completion.
    12. Perform visual inspection of completed work.
    13. Fill out daily paperwork.
    14. Perform daily team meetings.
    15. Perform trainings on sanitation, safety, and general topics.
    16. Use a computer to perform given tasks, fill out paperwork, and communicate.
    17. Safely operate a pressure washer and water hose station.
    18. Work on elevated platforms/ ladders.
    19. Work overtime and weekends as needed.



    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • One year of sanitation/ food safety & security experience.
    • One year leadership experience.
