    The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. Ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations set by Chelten House Inc.

    Responsibilities

     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Meets warehouse company operational standards. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
    • Orient, train, assign, coach, develop and manage performance for employees as well as communicate job expectations.
    • Strategically plan and review productivity, quality, customer service standards, resolving issues and identifying warehouse system improvements.
    • Maintain and organize floor space recommending improvements and conducting physical counts, reconciling variances.
    • Maintain rail, dunnage and outside grounds.
    • Utilize WMS and partner with third party shipper for shipments.
    • Determine staffing levels and assign appropriate workload.
    • Interface with third party shipper to answer questions and resolve problems.
    • Confer and coordinate activities with team and other departments.
    • Organize and maintain inventory transaction’s accuracy
    • Interface with customer to answer question or solve problem
    • Measure and report the effectiveness of the warehousing activities 

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma/ GED
    • 3 years of supervisory experience
    • Inventory control, cycle count and shipping and receiving experience is required.
    • Experience working a WMS is strongly preferred.
    • Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory
    • Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
    • Proficient computer skills, some knowledge of computer software
